Grounded
Through the exploration of your mind–body connection, you’ll learn to deepen into feelings while remaining grounded and present. Somatic work invites us to listen beneath words—to the subtle sensations, impulses, and rhythms of the body that carry our emotional truths. By slowing down and attuning to the body’s wisdom, you begin to recognize how emotions, stress, and old patterns live in muscle tension, breath, posture, and movement.
In our work together, I may guide you to notice where you feel sensations or where you feel numb, to track shifts in breath or temperature, or to gently ground through movement or touch. These practices help regulate the nervous system, making it possible to stay connected even when emotions feel big or overwhelming. Over time, you’ll cultivate a felt sense of safety and self-trust—an embodied presence that allows for deeper healing and integration. Somatic awareness becomes not just a tool for coping, but a way of inhabiting your life with more authenticity, aliveness, and ease.
