Psyche-Therapy for Therapists
Working with caretaker burnout, exhaustion, and boundaries
As therapists, we hold space for others, but we also need a place to bring our own challenges, doubts, and emotions. Working with a therapist who understands the nuances of our field while offering grounded, attuned support can be profoundly beneficial. In my work with therapists, I provide a space that is both responsive and strong enough to hold the complexities of the role.
Therapy for therapists often benefits from working with a clinician who can move flexibly between approaches, rather than relying on a single framework. Just as there is no one-size-fits-all for clients, the same applies when we step into the client role. Whether you’re working through countertransference, burnout, imposter syndrome, or personal struggles, I tailor the work to what is most supportive for you, not just what aligns with a particular modality.
At the same time, I emphasize keeping the work grounded. While it can be easy to intellectualize or analyze, therapy tends to be most transformative when we stay connected to lived experience, not just professional knowledge. I offer a space where shared understanding of the field is present, while the focus remains on your own internal world.
Many therapists worry that what they bring to therapy is “too much,” or that they should know better than to struggle in the ways they do. My goal is to create a space sturdy enough to hold whatever arises, allowing you to fully process your emotions without needing to filter, manage, or perform them.
If you’re ready for a space where you can show up fully, be held in all you carry, and do deep, meaningful work, I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation.
Areas of Focus
-

Over-Giving & Emotional Load
Exploring personalized therapeutic approaches can help you address burnout, imposter syndrome, and countertransference, especially when you’ve been carrying more emotional responsibility than is sustainable. This work supports you in staying aligned with your values and tending to yourself, not just others.
-

Exhaustion & Nervous System Depletion
Staying connected to your lived experience in therapy can help you move beyond chronic exhaustion and intellectualization. Together, we focus on regulating your nervous system, reconnecting with authentic emotion, and restoring a sense of presence in your work and life.
-

Resentment & Boundaries
Creating space to process the emotional weight of caregiving helps you release what you’ve been holding alone. This work supports you in feeling less burdened by others’ needs, reconnecting with your own limits, and restoring a sense of balance and well-being.
